Aston Martin win award for Most Beautiful Car 2011

The luxury sports car firm Aston Martin has always been in the limelight, whether it’s motor racing, film and television or in this case collecting another award for the company’s bulging awards cabinet.

Aston Martin has just been awarded the Autonis Design Award for the “Most Beautiful Car 2011”. German magazine readers of “auto motor und sport” chose the Aston Martin Virage coupé as the most beautiful sports car this year.

The award was presented to Managing Director Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe, who was delighted as this was the third time Aston Martin has walked away with this prestigious design award from the German magazine. Nearly 23,000 readers of the German magazine took part in this year’s Autonis readers’ choice awards.

In the same awards ceremony there was another scoop for Aston Martin, as the Virage Volante and the Aston Martin Cygnet both came in second place in the “Convertible” and “Small Cars” categories respectively.
