The Audi R8 V10 Spyder takes everything we love about the coupe but brings you closer to the sound of that glorious V10. With a fully electric retractable soft top roof the Spyder quickly transforms itself in around 20 seconds revealing a large vent adorned rear deck, hiding the monstrous engine beneath.
The second generation Audi R8 was redesigned from the ground up as it aimed to build on the original R8's success. This was no mean feat as it's predecessor was heralded by many experts as one of the finest sports cars ever made. The R8 is now only available with the naturally aspirated V10 engine derived from the Lamborghini Huracan, whilst there is no manual gearbox anymore with Audi confident that the car is best suited to itās super slick shifting S-Tronic transmission. With more muscular styling, a lighter chassis and a much more refined interior the R8 is now a bona-fide supercar with real character. In an age of turbocharging the Audi R8 V10 Spyder stands tall with what could be one of the last great naturally aspirated engines, it really is a car we canāt recommend highly enough.
