This time the engine is producing a plentiful 525hp along with a healthy serving of 625Nm of torque. All of this results in some scarcely believable performance figures for a 2.5-ton behemoth of a car, 0 - 62mph takes just 5.2 seconds, topping out at just shy of 150mph. In order to reign all this extra grunt in Land Rover have kindly fitted the V8 with uprated suspension, beefier brakes and an all-new electronic differential and traction control program. In terms of the styling and standard features on this car Land Rover really have given this the full beans, making this the ultimate modern-day Defender.
