An icon for over 68 years, the Land Rover Defender’s production ceased in January 2016 with more than two million models made since the original series 1 production began in 1948. The Adventure was produced as one of three run-out special editions to mark the end of production of this iconic quintessentially British off-roader. The Defender Adventure Edition is aimed at customers who relish the great outdoors and embrace the Defender's go anywhere, do anything attitude. It comes fitted with additional underbody protection and BF Goodrich tyres to boost the Defender's already class-leading all-terrain capability along with a Roof Rack and Snorkel. All 90 SW variants feature a power upgrade from 120 bhp to 148 bhp. Production is limited to 600 in the UK.

Other unique features to the Adventure include the Seven-Inch LED Projector Headlamps and Gloss Black Split-Spoke Alloys. The focus is firmly on comfort inside, where the Adventure Edition promises to provide high quality shelter from the elements. The car comes with Premium seats with Windsor Leather upholstery, Perforated Leather inserts and contrast stitching that all add a touch of luxury. They are complimented by the Leather trimmed gear knob, handbrake lever and Bright Aluminium interior trim. High quality Windsor Leather also features on the passenger facia and instrument panel. Finally, Ebony headlining and bespoke carpet mats complete the look.
