The 911 Carrera GTS is renowned as one of the best driving models in the range with its perfect blend of comfort and performance. It sits in between a regular Carrera S and the full blooded 911 GT3. Porsche has taken a regular Carrera S and gone to town on the performance upgrades, including; wider track, “powerkit” engine upgrade, sport chrono plus package, sports exhaust, dynamic engine mounts, torque vectoring set-up and limited-slip diff. The suspension and steering have been re-tuned for greater dynamic poise and feedback, with a 10mm ride height drop. The GTS then, is for the enthusiast who would like a 911 GT3 but is not prepared to put up with the on-road compromises inherent with such a track orientated car and it fulfils this position perfectly in true Porsche style.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- A sublime all-purpose sports car that few others can match for its combination of power, handling prowess and interior refinement.
- The 911 that gives the best blend of performance, handling and value is the GTS - especially in Carrera RWD guise. It's sharper to drive and faster than the S, and gets close to the thrills of the GT3 - but it's still a well-rounded road car.
- The 911 has lovely steering which is weighted, damped and calibrated to perfection. It also has impeccable steel brakes, a wizard chassis engineered for an amazing ride/handling balance, a quickshift transmission and an engine that sounds, performs and revs to an infectious degree.
