Introducing the Porsche 911 S/T, produced for Porsche’s 60th Anniversary and strictly limited to 1,963 examples worldwide. For many it's the perfect combination of taking the performance of the 992 GT3 RS but with the styling of the 992 GT3 Touring and fitted with a 6-speed manual gearbox to create the most special 992 yet. This formula worked wonders on the 991 Series with the 911 R being arguably the most collectible and desirable 911 of the last decade so there is no surprise that the S/T has been the most hotly anticipated 911 since the 992 series was first introduced.
The 4L flat-6 engine comes directly from the 992 GT3RS but by removing the gigantic rear wing and adding the manual gearbox, which of course is unavailable for the 3RS, Porsche have created a car that truly resonates with the most discerning Porsche collectors and enthuasiasts. Whilst more road-focused than track, Porsche motorsport have created the lightest 992 yet, helped in part by magnesium wheels and carbon ceramic brakes which come as standard. Porsche have also removed rear axle steering which helps reduce weight and also allows fitment of a lightweight lithium battery. The shift lever is 10mm shorter than it is in the GT3 and with shorter gearing on the drive ratios, you can reach higher revs much quicker allowing you go through the gears in a more engaging and intense driving experience.
Overall, the 911 S/T is the ultimate driver's car, in the purest form that Porsche can offer but in an understated package which is already being praised by journalists as one of the all-time great 911s.
