    Model Overview

    The 981 Boxsters were built between 2012 and 2016 and they represent the last of the naturally aspirated engines with all Boxster's since built with turbocharged engines. The 981 is the 3rd generation of this mid-engined 2 seater roadster layout that has proved so successful for Porsche over the years. Like all the Porsche GTS models the Boxster GTS is aimed at those who like to consider themselves as more of a purist with it being extra sporty and more driver focused.

    Compared to the Boxster S there is an additional 15bhp, revised front & rear bumpers and lots of additional features as standard. Whilst it doesn't sound like a huge raft of changes, journalists absolutely rave about the GTS being a totally transformed car over the S. This particular example comes with the trademark GTS interior, with Alcantara throughout creating a sumptuous cabin. The Boxster GTS is a pure open-top sports car that is exciting to drive, has a exhilarating soundtrack and being the last of it's kind it has proved to hold on to it's value very well too.
