Model Overview

The McLaren 750s Spider is a new benchmark in performance and engagement, with a mid mounted engine for perfect weight distribution. The 750s has similar styling and aerodynamics to its predecessor, the 720s, but with upgrades such as the all-new central-exit Sports Exhaust system. There is also a new front bumper, front splitter and upgraded side air intakes to become more aerodynamically efficient and improve balance and grip.

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 produces 740bhp, 30bhp more than the 720s, and does 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds. With this extra power comes new springs, bespoke twin valve dampers, a quicker steering ratio and a wider front track.

The focus on weight reduction results in the 750s Spider being 35kg lighter than before. At the heart of the car is the carbon fibre tub, dubbed the 'Monocage II' which incorporates the windscreen hoop, saving weight in a crucial area versus the metal version on previous Super Series cars.

The 750s includes Alcantara upholstery throughout the interior, making this car a viciously quick and impressive car that offers hyper car levels of performance with added luxury and comfort.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY

  • McLaren has created a V8-engined supercar that can be considered not only one of the best of its time, but the best of all time.
    EVO
  • The McLaren 750S gets so many things right on so many levels – and is so much sharper to drive than the car it replaces – we can’t help but be blown away by it. In fact, it’s just how a loud, proud, mad, slightly scary supercar should be.
    Auto Express
  • The hit of performance it delivers is a wonderful succession of hurricane force mid-range boost followed by high-rpm snarl that it’s hard to compute both can be produced by the same engine.
