The Heritage was produced as one of three run-out special editions to mark the end of the Land Rover Defender production. With only 400 examples worldwide the Heritage editions included a 90 Station Wagon, a 90 Hard Top commercial version and this example a 110 Long Wheelbase version. All the Heritage Editions are essentially a modern interpretation of the original Land Rover and a throwback to the 1948 Series 1 Defender. Packed with charm and character this iconic Defender is a nailed on future classic with it's distinctive Grasmere Green paint and contrasting white roof with retro touches throughout.
With this particular example having just 1 owner from new, it now presents itself as an exciting opportunity for someone as a hugely collectible car which can be considered as a potential investment or as an off road 4x4 vehicle which is fun and rewarding to drive. The private plate ‘D8 HUE’ harks back to the very first Land Rover Defender in 1947 which was nicknamed ‘Huey’. This plate is included in the listing, adding value and further enhancing this cars rich Defender heritage.
