The Vanquish S was unveiled in 2016 and became Aston's flagship V12 representing the very last of their naturally aspirated V12s before being succeeded by the turbocharged DBS Superleggera in 2018. The Vanquish S Volante followed in the footsteps of the coupe version sharing a number of mechanical and aesthetic upgrades over the standard Vanquish. With improved aerodynamics, a power increase and a suspension overhaul making the 'S' a much more focused and direct car to drive, it's the freer flowing exhaust system with twin tailpipes which provided an altogether more aggressive and throatier soundtrack which enthusiasts and journalists tend to rave about. The Vanquish S remains an inspired choice when considering a luxury grand tourer and with the ability to put the roof down the Volante is the best way to enjoy the scintillating soundtrack.
