Land Rover made some significant updates to the 2024 Model year Range Rover which included upgraded plug-in hybrids and a new V8 option. In this instance the P440e has been upgraded to the P460e thanks to a new 215bhp electric motor adding an extra 20bhp over the previous version improving both its acceleration and it's electric-only range. The upgrades are also present inside the car with an updated 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen which has enabled Land Rover to remove multiple buttons from the centre console for a cleaner look and now 80% of all functions are within two taps from the homescreen. With some added tweaks to the adaptive cruise control system and the Terrain response the 2024 model year represents the latest and best of what the Range Rover is capable of.

WHAT THE JOURNALISTS SAY
- Range Rovers have always majored on soothing luxury so mooching around in EV mode feels like a very natural step for this car to have made. Few cars make the transformation into electrification feel as natural.
- If you keep your Range Rover PHEV charged up at home itāll use next to no petrol and be quite cheap to run.
- Ultimately, a car like this is meant to deliver unrivalled luxury, and this plug-in version climbs to higher heights than any model so far.
