The timeless design of the 911 Targa has now been incorporated into the 992 generation. Featuring the signature characteristic roll-over bar from the classic Targa and features the beautifully engineered roof mechanism. 444bhp is available in the 992 Targa 4S, which here is delivered through an 8-Speed PDK gearbox and then distributed to all 4 wheels. The Targa 4S launches from 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and continues on to a top speed of 189mph, 1mph short of the 992 Carrera 4S.

The interior receives a thorough remodeling with an analogue rev counter flanked by 7” TFT screens and a beautifully integrated centre console. The dainty gear lever, knurled switches and high-quality materials used throughout exude luxury and class, making the cabin a really special place to be. More features included as standard such as cruise control, ParkAssist and Keyless-Go bring the 992 up to speed with its competitors’ trim levels.

Tweaks and adjustments to just about every component for the 992 generation from the steering and suspension to the car calibration, have rendered a car which feels more planted, sure footed and capable than ever before. Everything from the brakes to the power delivery feels somehow more cohesive and together, in ways you didn’t realise were lacking.
