This is one of a series of 9 bespoke one-off Rolls Royce Wraiths in the ‘Inspired by British Music’ collection. The series was in collaboration with famous British artists such as Roger Daltery CBE from The Who and Sir Ray Davies from The Kinks. This particular Wraith came to fruition with creative touches from Francis Rossi OBE, lead singer and lead guitarist of Status Quo, to create a car that celebrates five decades of music from this revered British rock band.
The front headrests have received unique embroidery impressions of Rossi OBE’s iconic green/white Fender Telecaster guitar, one which he painted himself and still owns to this day, and a white/black Telecaster of his late bandmate and friend Rick Parfitt. Inspired by the cover artwork from the band’s 1973 album ‘Hello!’, a silhouette of the four Status Quo legends is stitched into the leather waterfall, while the copper door flights are engraved with lyrics from ‘Caroline’ / ‘Don’t Drive My Car’. Other stand out features include the “Status Quo” engraved door sills and base of The Spirit of Ecstasy. Overall this highly collectible one-off car presents a rare opportunity for Status Quo and Rolls-Royce enthusiasts alike.
